▍PRISMA-hörbare Glasschichten｜SEEKLANG Festival 2024

 

We then left the concert hall and arrived at a glass factory by the lake, where we began the third performance of the concert series – PRISMA-hörbare Glasschichten.

 

For me, there is always a sense of space in music, especially when performed live. The thoughts of the musicians can be heard, even in familiar pieces. These thoughts act like different frames around familiar paintings, evoking entirely different feelings from the same work. Simultaneously, the audience's thoughts are also heard in this performance because they too wander through the space with the musicians. We move together, listening to each other's sounds. It is like a river from yesterday, but with the audience joining in; the scenery of the lake and mountains outside the window, while we flow like water, forming various formations in different spaces.

 

After hearing the music, we also hear each other, which is the concert I have always dreamed of. Exchanging opinions, inspiring one another, and meticulously discussing ways to improve further—this is extremely beautiful and joyful.

 

Inside the glass factory, there are many different products, each with varying degrees of transparency and refracted colors. Each has its own characteristics and unique beauty, just like people. Listening to each other and existing together in the present moment.
